William R. “Randy” Rucker

William R. “Randy” Rucker is a partner at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath and is the leader of the firm’s Customs and International Trade practice group. He is an accomplished and experienced attorney who represents clients in all areas of U.S. law and regulation governing international trade. Randy regularly assists his clients with U.S. customs law issues relating to the tariff classification, proper valuation and appraisement, and country of origin and marking requirements for imported merchandise. Additionally, he frequently represents clients involved in compliance audits and other verification proceedings, enforcement actions such as civil penalty and liquidated damages cases, antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings, and other trade-related matters pending before U.S. agencies, as well as litigation before the Court of International Trade and Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Randy has practiced international trade law in both Chicago and Washington, D.C. and is a frequent speaker on a wide variety of international trade topics.
